My name is George Jaeggi and I am the author of the Case Studies in my Blog.

I am the founder of my consulting firm Halten Management Services (www.haltenchina.com) and with my background in finance and operational management, I have helped companies evaluate and explore overseas low-cost opportunities.

I have conducted business in Canada, England, Germany, Switzerland, France, Poland, Hungary, USA, Mexico, Japan, Korea and many places in China and I have established connections for sourcing and business transfers with the primary focus on China.

With my experience in evaluating existing and potential business partners in China, I have learned to deal with all levels of Chinese Government officials, including Party and Union Leaders, hiring competent “English” speaking management and set-up Accounting Systems which can satisfy both the Chinese and North American requirements.

Over the past 11 years, I have set up operations in China in many different forms, such as:

Representative Office (RO) — Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE) — Equity Joint Venture (EJV) with local company — Contractual Joint Venture (CJV)

I have established a network of independent professionals who come from a wide range of backgrounds and education and In China I am represented by long-time business associates who co-ordinate all China business dealings together with a competent group of process and quality engineers and I rely on this diversity, using them as required, to find the best solutions.
